How long is Damon usually booked out for?
Damon is usually booked out around 4-6 months at any given time.
When can I book in with Damon?
Bookings open on Thursday February 1st at 6pm to fill June July august and September.
Damon's books open periodically, when his books are open it will be advertised on his social media and you will be able to make a booking, at the moment his books are closed, you can book via the "Book in" section of this website when it goes live, to get an email notification and priority booking you can add yourself to the mailing list at the bottom of the this page.
Where is Damon located?
Damon works in a private studio Guerilla Art Society located in Penrith.
Address will be provided upon payment of a deposit.
How much is a deposit?
A deposit is $200 paid via bank transfer only, this must be paid within 24 hours of appointment offer being sent otherwise your appointment will be cancelled, it is non refundable or date transferrable but comes off the total price of the tattoo which is to be paid in cash on the day.
Where can I make a booking?
You can make a booking by filling out the form on the "book in" page while the books are open.
Are there any themes Damon won't do?
He only takes on realistic tattoos, he is open to doing most themes and elements as long as the client is willing to give him full artistic freedom with the design and reference photos. Some examples of themes/elements Damon won’t take on include (but are not limited to), Family portraits, American Indian, Scenery, Lions, Greek Mythology & Religious. Usually the reasoning for this is that he is no longer interested in taking on these themes and elements as he had done them too many times in the past, or he doesn’t feel he can do his best work on something that doesn’t interest him.
When will I see my design?
Damon will usually design your tattoo between a week and the day before your appointment, you will receive it via email or text message before your appointment.
Damon and I spoke about what we were going to do next session last time I had an appointment with him, do I still need to write it in the description?
Yes, please write exactly what you are planning on having done whenever making an enquiry. Damon is booked out for quite some time so the better the description you give me the easier it will be for Damon to design your tattoo coming up to your appointment as he can read over your enquiry to refresh him memory before designing your piece.
Please note "Finishing my sleeve" is not a good description when making an enquiry.
What happens if I change my mind about what I want to get tattooed prior to the session I have booked?
Change of mind is up to Damon's discretion, there are a lot of themes and elements (including but not limited to above) that Damon will not take on, for this reason he can be quite particular about what he initially books in, as you are approved for the idea you send through with your initial enquiry. As long as the piece you change your mind to is something Damon would have said yes to taking on when making your initial booking that is fine. Please note change of mind may result in a rescheduled or cancelled appointment.
